Publication ethics

The editorial board of the journal adheres to the principles of academic integrity, openness and responsibility in the process of preparing and publishing scientific papers. In its activities, the journal follows the recommendations of international organizations in the field of publication ethics, in particular the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), and also takes into account the principles of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) as well as modern approaches to ensuring the transparency of scientific research.

The editorial policy of the journal is aimed at ensuring the objective, independent, and unbiased consideration of manuscripts. All submitted materials are evaluated solely on the basis of their scientific significance, level of novelty, reliability of results, and compliance with the thematic profile of the journal, regardless of the authors’ place of work, academic degree, or other characteristics.

Main Principles of Editorial Activity

The editorial board ensures:

- adherence to the fundamental principles of publishing: scientific rigor, objectivity, professionalism, and informational support for the most significant innovative research;

- organization of independent scientific peer review of materials;

- ensuring the confidentiality of information about authors and reviewers;

- prevention of conflicts of interest among participants in the editorial process;

- timely response to appeals regarding possible violations of publication ethics;

- making corrections or retracting materials in case of detection of errors or violations.

The editorial board does not permit the use of unpublished materials for its own scientific purposes without the written consent of the authors.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors bear full responsibility for the content of submitted materials and must comply with the requirements of academic integrity.

Authors are obliged to:

- submit only original scientific materials for consideration;

- ensure the reliability of the presented research results;

- properly provide references to the sources used;

- indicate all persons who made a significant contribution to the research;

- inform the editorial office about any conflict of interest or sources of funding;

- approve the final version of the manuscript by all co-authors before submission.

Fabrication or falsification of research results, data manipulation, duplicate publication, or any other violations of academic integrity are not permitted.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers play an important role in ensuring the quality of scientific publications and must carry out expert evaluation of manuscripts in accordance with the principles of objectivity and confidentiality.

Reviewers must:

- conduct an impartial evaluation of manuscripts within the scope of their own scientific competence;

- provide well-founded recommendations for improving the quality of the materials;

- maintain the confidentiality of the information received;

- inform the editorial office about possible cases of plagiarism or duplicate publication;

- decline to review in the event of a conflict of interest.

Responsibilities of the Editorial Board

The editorial board of the journal ensures the organization of peer review, editorial decision-making, and compliance with the principles of publication ethics.

The editorial board is obliged to:

- ensure an impartial consideration of manuscripts;

- make publication decisions based on the scientific value of the material;

- monitor compliance with ethical standards during the editorial process;

- maintain the confidentiality of information concerning manuscripts;

- respond to identified violations of academic integrity in accordance with COPE recommendations.
