AI tools usage policy

The journal recognizes the possibility of using modern artificial intelligence (AI) tools as auxiliary means in the preparation, editing, and formatting of scientific materials, provided that the principles of academic integrity, reliability of research results, and transparency of the editorial process are fully observed.

The use of artificial intelligence technologies is permitted only as a supportive tool that does not replace the author’s scientific work. All scientific results, conclusions, interpretations, and analytical generalizations must be produced independently by the authors. Responsibility for the content of the manuscript, the accuracy of data, and the correctness of the information presented remains fully with the authors regardless of the use of auxiliary technologies.

Permitted Uses of AI Tools

Authors may use artificial intelligence tools for:

• language editing, spelling and grammar checking;

• translation of texts into other languages or improvement of stylistic presentation;

• technical processing of information, structuring of text, or preparation of supporting materials;

• analysis of large datasets or performance of auxiliary computational procedures, provided that the results are verified by the authors.

Prohibited Uses of AI Tools

The use of artificial intelligence tools is not permitted for:

• generating or falsifying scientific results, data, or experimental materials;

• automatically producing main scientific conclusions without proper author verification;

• manipulating images, graphs, or tables with the purpose of distorting research results;

• concealing plagiarism or artificially increasing the originality level of the text;

• submitting materials generated by artificial intelligence without proper disclosure of its use.

Disclosure Requirements for AI Use

If artificial intelligence technologies are used during the preparation of the manuscript, authors should notify the editorial office and indicate the nature of the use of the relevant tools in the text of the article in the section Presentation of the main research material or accompanying materials. The information should include the name of the tool or software and a brief description of how it is used, explaining the process and details of its application.

Use of AI in the Editorial Process

Editors and reviewers may use artificial intelligence tools only under conditions that ensure confidentiality of submitted materials and prevent the transfer of manuscripts to external services without appropriate data protection guarantees.

The editorial office reserves the right to request additional explanations from authors regarding the use of artificial intelligence technologies and to verify submitted materials for compliance with established requirements.

Compliance with this policy promotes responsible use of artificial intelligence technologies and ensures an appropriate level of trust in the research results published in the journal.
