Annotation

The results of the study of environmental auditing, environmental assessment and certification of agricultural production are highlighted. The role of ecological consciousness and culture of the population, workers of the agrosphere, and especially people who occupy leading positions are determined. Improved model of sustainable (ecologically balanced) society as a methodological basis for transition to environmentally balanced and safe agriculture. The importance of economic and legal instruments for preventing environmental risks in agricultural production is emphasized.

Keywords: agrosphere, ecological safety, agricultural production, environmental control, environmental monitoring, environmental passportization, forecast for the development of environmentally safe situations.
