Annotation

The article considers features of conservation of biotic and landscape diversity within the boundaries of nature reserves and territories. The main tasks of the park-monument of garden-park art of national significance «Botanical Garden «Podillya»» are analyzed. The park is the structural unit of the All-Ukrainian Scientific-Training Consortium, in particular the Vinnytsia National Agrarian University. The nature protection zones of the park area are investigated, their structural and functional properties, functions and measures to reduce the negative influence on them are described. The scheme of afforestation of the Botanical Garden is given and analyzed. The ecological assessment of the state of forest phytocoenoses in selected monitoring sites has been determined. The conducted studies indicate an increase in the level of defoliation and dehromation of some species of trees. The main factors of deterioration of their ecological state are anthropogenic influences, in particular, air pollution with atmospheric impurities; biotic effects of pests and fungal diseases; the deterioration of the state of trees due to their biological interaction. On the basis of the conducted researches a complex of measures on effective and rational use of forest ecosystems of Botanical garden «Podillya» is offered.

Keywords: biotic diversity, landscape diversity, ecosystem resilience, nature conservation fund, Podillya Botanical Garden, forest association, balanced development.
