Issue №: 3 (42)
The issue of the magazine is devoted to topical issues of improving technological methods of growing agricultural crops. Considerable attention is paid to the peculiarities of growing vegetable, grain and leguminous crops, which play an important role in ensuring the food security of the state. Scientific publications present the results of experimental research on the fertilization of grain crops, the importance of soil moisture for the formation of friendly seedlings of field crops, as well as the effectiveness of technological methods of growing agricultural crops. Separate works of European scientists highlight the issue of pre-sowing seed treatment and the use of biological preparations to protect plants from harmful objects. The issue of effective use of the forest fund of enterprises, increasing the role of agroforestry in the creation of sustainable food systems and the creation of targeted wood plantations was also considered.

The article presents the results of experimental studies aimed at determining the effectiveness of the use of a bacterial-mineral system for feeding corn for grain in the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe. The study is relevant in connection with the need to optimize corn fertilization systems for grain, increase the utilization rate of nutrients from mineral fertilizers, expand the use of biological preparations and adapt growing technologies to climate change. The aim of the work was to establish the patterns of influence of different mineral nutrition backgrounds in combination with bacterial preparations on the formation of growth processes and grain productivity of corn and determine the optimal nutrition option for the soil and climatic conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. Field studies were carried out during 2023-2024 on gray forest medium loam soils. The object of the study was the DKS 3972 (FAO 300) corn hybrid at a seeding rate of 72 thousand seeds/ha. The experimental design involved studying two mineral nutrition backgrounds: N₉₂ and N₉₂ + N₁₂P₂₄K₁₂S₈,₅, as well as the use of bacterial preparations Biostim corn (0.05 kg/sowing unit) and Biostim Forte (0.15 l/ha). The research program involved determining the height of plants in the BBSN 55 phase and assessing the yield of corn grain. Analysis of the obtained data showed a significant impact of the studied bacterial-mineral nutrition system on the formation of crop growth indicators. On the N₉₂ background, the plant height was 218 cm in the control, while the use of Biostim corn and Biostim Forte preparations ensured its increase to 223 and 222 cm, respectively. Increasing the level of mineral nutrition to N₉₂ + N₁₂P₂₄K₁₂S₈,₅ contributed to further improvement in plant growth. In the absence of inoculation, the plant height reached 227 cm, while the use of bacterial preparations ensured its increase to 232–233 cm. The maximum value of the indicator (233 cm) was recorded when combining an increased background of mineral fertilizer with the use of the drug Biostim Forte. The results of the studies show that inoculation of seeds with bacterial preparations contributed to an increase in corn grain productivity on both backgrounds of mineral nutrition. The most pronounced effect was observed when combining mineral fertilizer with biological preparations. Thus, on the background of N₉₂, grain yield increased from 8.41 t/ha in the control to 9.11 t/ha when using the drug Biostim Corn and to 9.08 t/ha when using Biostim Forte, which confirms the feasibility of the integrated use of a bacterial-mineral nutrition system. With an increased level of mineral nutrition without inoculation, a yield of 10.60 t/ha was formed, while the combined use of bacterial preparations ensured its increase to 11.65–11.91 t/ha. The highest yield – 11.91±2.00 t/ha – was obtained with the application of fertilizers in the norm N₉₂ + N₁₂P₂₄K₁₂S₈.₅ in combination with the use of the preparation Biostim Forte, which was 3.50 t/ha (41.6%) higher than the control variant. The obtained results indicate that the integration of bacterial preparations into the mineral nutrition system is an effective element of the technology of growing corn for grain. The combination of balanced mineral fertilizer with bacterial inoculation provides activation of growth processes, improves the use of nutrients, contributes to the realization of the productive potential of the hybrid and the formation of high grain yields. The most effective for the conditions of the Right-Bank Forest-Steppe is the use of a mineral nutrition background of N₉₂ + N₁₂P₂₄K₁₂S₈.₅ in combination with the preparation Biostim Forte, which can be recommended for introduction into production as an element of a resource-saving and environmentally balanced technology for growing corn for grain.
