Description:
The issue of the magazine is devoted to topical issues of improving technological methods of growing agricultural crops. Considerable attention is paid to the peculiarities of growing vegetable, grain and leguminous crops, which play an important role in ensuring the food security of the state. Scientific publications present the results of experimental research on the fertilization of grain crops, the importance of soil moisture for the formation of friendly seedlings of field crops, as well as the effectiveness of technological methods of growing agricultural crops. Separate works of European scientists highlight the issue of pre-sowing seed treatment and the use of biological preparations to protect plants from harmful objects. The issue of effective use of the forest fund of enterprises, increasing the role of agroforestry in the creation of sustainable food systems and the creation of targeted wood plantations was also considered.

Annotation

The article analyzes the structure of the forest fund of the Specialized Forestry Municipal Enterprise "Flora". The forest fund of the enterprise is concentrated in the central part of the Khmelnytskyi region within the Khmelnytskyi district. The paper examines the features of the distribution of the forest fund by land categories, species and age structure of forest stands. An analysis of the productivity and condition of stands by quality and completeness is also conducted. According to the results of the research, it was established that within the forest fund, the area of forests of environmental, scientific, historical and cultural significance is 59.9 hectares. The area of recreational and health forests is 707.5 hectares, protective forests - 3687.8 hectares, and operational forests - 2724.6 hectares. The forest fund is also partially included in the components of the Emerald Network: “Barskyi” (Barskyi UA0000228) (sq. 85 (viz. 1-8), viz. 82, viz. 87) and “Verkhnie Pobozhzhia” (sq. 114 (Verkhnie Pobozhzhia UA0000169 viz. 1-5, 9-16). About 15 different habitat types have been identified within the mentioned objects of the Emerald Network. In general, it was found that the forest fund of the enterprise is used quite effectively. This is indicated by the low share of non-forest lands, as well as lands not covered by forest vegetation. Positive trends were identified regarding: an increase in the share of economically valuable tree species, in particular, Scots oak and Scots pine; an increase in the productivity of stands; a decrease in low-density and disturbed stands. Positive trends are also noted regarding the growth of areas and stocks of mature stands. The stands are in good condition. No significant damage or damage to the stands by biotic and abiotic factors was detected. Insignificant areas of stands (6.9 hectares) were characteristic of European spruce and Scots pine. The stands, with a predominance of deciduous trees, are in good condition and are characterized by high productivity indicators.

Keywords: forest stands, condition, productivity, forest categories, efficiency of forestry management.
